The game file sizes that will be available on the PS Plus Extra tier starting in August 2023 have been made public. Each month, PS Plus Extra subscribers receive a ton of new games, and Premium subscribers also get access to these titles in addition to other benefits.
According to a recent announcement from Sony, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will have access to 17 new games starting in August 2023. The games on this list include Sea of Stars and Moving Out 2, the first additions to the catalog, along with Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, and more. PS Plus Extra subscribers now have a better idea of how much space these titles will require thanks to the disclosure of their file sizes.
One of the most notable titles arriving in August 2023 on the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus is Lost Judgement, which requires 47.161 GB of free space in order to install on a PS5. Its PS4 equivalent, in contrast, will require 56.404 GB of storage. Spellforce 3 Reforced will require 16.041 GB of storage, while Media Molecule's Dreams needs 10.575 GB. Cursed to Golf requires 4.801 GB of space for PS4 and 1.017 GB of space for PS5, while installing Midnight Fight Express on Extra requires 9.326 GB of space.
On the PS5, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed takes up 41.779 GB of space, whereas on the PS4, it takes up about 32.6 GB. Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition requires 5.095 GB of free space from the user, while the PS5 version of Source of Madness only requires 1.342 GB. For the PS5 and PS4 versions, respectively, PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night will require 8.483 GB and roughly 13.6 GB of space, while Hotel Transylvania: Scary Tale Adventures will require 5.855 GB. Lastly, Moving Out 2, the PS Plus addition that launched on day one, takes up about 2 GB of storage space on PlayStation systems.
It appears that users won't need to start a separate download in order to play Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition and Destiny 2: The Witch Queen since licenses for both games will just be added to their accounts. Lastly, although the file size of Sea of Stars is not yet available due to its August 29 release date, it is likely to not require a significant amount of space considering the game's general aesthetic.
